Heather Carbone began her career at Lehman Brothers in subprime mortgage wholesale before the 2008 collapse. She transitioned into private lending and has since built and operated multiple companies across hard money lending, startup capital, cannabis lending, and business growth financing.
That independence is what makes the rest of her work possible. Over the past six years she has advised political candidates and run campaigns for sheriff candidates, judicial candidates, and police union directors — not as a consultant building a client roster, but as someone who cares about outcomes.
Her civic work includes founding the original recall campaign against LA District Attorney George Gascón, which grew into a 40,000-member movement and citywide PAC effort with national broadcast coverage. She founded Defend the LAPD, a platform with more than 20,000 followers including thousands of active and retired officers. She also founded the Runyon Canyon Defenders and helped establish the Crime Busters neighborhood safety network.
She has spoken on cartel and border violence for the California Narcotics Officers Association, INIA Skynarc, US Border Patrol, and other law enforcement organizations alongside retired California DOJ Special Agent Steve Duncan. She advocates on behalf of victims and law enforcement communities.
She has served on advisory boards for the LAPD, the Santa Barbara Police Department, LA Recreation and Parks, and the LA City Neighborhood Council, with leadership roles in multiple civic and political organizations.
